Dogsledding trip - 4 hours - Sisimiut

The dogsled is an important part of the Greenlandic culture. In ancient times it was the only means of transportation in the winter months, when the land was covered with ice and snow.

The tour goes to the elevated view point of Qiterlinnguaq, where you will find a peculiar cabin shaped like an UFO. The cabin has caused quite a number of comments over the years. Here you will have a break and enjoy a hot drink before heading back to Sisimiut.

On the tour, you will pass a varied and hilly terrain, where you will get a profound experience of both the sled driver’s and the sled dogs’ skills at work.

Dogsled tours are not recommended for people with severe back problems, as they can be bumpy rides.
